Stone Mecca releases his new single “If Experience Was Money”,
As a producer and musician, Stone Mecca has solidly established a foothold in the worlds of both Hip Hop & R&B.
Now, as a solo artist, Stone Mecca has stripped down his production style to its rawest form, creating a gritty love triangle between roots rock, blues and funk. His latest single, “If Experience Was Money”, is a hard-hitting track that puts his guitar virtuosity on full display.
Easily navigating through an array of musical genres, the highly versatile instrumentalist, producer, and composer has appeared on the soundtracks for Django Unchained, The Man with the Iron Fist, Friday, Blade: Trinity, Soul Plane, Repo Men, Afro Samurai and Afro Samurai Resurrection. He’s also appeared on albums by Wu-Tang, RZA as Bobby Digital, Kanye West, Ice Cube, West Side Connection and Snoop Dogg.
Stone Mecca has performed live with Earth, Wind & Fire, in the studio with Corinne Bailey Rae, Anderson Paak, Kanye West, Method Man, George Clinton, Wu-Tang Clan, and whenever RZA performs live, he often shares billing with Stone Mecca and his band.
Says RZA, “Stone Mecca gives us a modern day example of what heart and soul music is.”
